January 26, Chandigarh: We celebrated India’s 74th Republic Day.
The Day began with Principal Mrs. Anu Kumar hoisting the Tri–Colour and singing of the National Anthem. Thereafter, she took the salute from the NCC Cadets. Speaking on the occasion, Director Academics Sunil Sir, said that each child must understand the history and diversity of our country. It was important to know where we all come from, to appreciate the freedoms bestowed upon us by the Constitution.
A plethora of activities was organised to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the students. The students took pride in glorifying and celebrating the spirit of unity. To mark the importance of this day, grand celebrations were held. The school echoed with patriotic fervour as the children danced, recited poems and sang patriotic songs to mark the occasion.
