Chandigarh, January 21, 2023.
The scrabble contest, an annual event hosted by the school, saw students from many schools across Chandigarh, Mohali, and Panchkula taking part in the globally popular word challenge.
Students from Classes V to XII challenged their vocabulary and spelling skills as they made their way through various rounds of the competition.
All the participants enthusiastically participated in the event and displayed their power of vocabulary. Such events provide children with an opportunity to show off their exceptional SCRABBLE skills in a game that is mentally and socially engaging, besides being a lot of fun.
Dhriti from G.N.P.S.-36 bagged the first prize from Group I, whereas Urvi Sharma from Sacred Heart and Daksh Singh from Shivalik Public School in Mohali secured the second and third positions, respectively.
Atulya Sharma from Shivalik Public School, Mohali, bagged the first prize from Group II, whereas Kaushal from Saupins School, Chandigarh, and Prateek Singh from Saupins School, Mohali, secured the second and third positions, respectively.
Rekha from Stepping Stones School bagged the first prize from Group III, whereas Janshi from Stepping Stones School (International) and Ishita Sharma from Saupins School, Chandigarh, secured the second and third positions, respectively.
Yuvraj Singh from Stepping Stones School bagged the first prize from Group IV, whereas Pranav Thakur from Gurukul Global School and Priya from The Olive School secured the second and third positions, respectively.
Principal Mrs. Anu Kumar, towards the conclusion of the event, congratulated the prize winners and thanked the visiting schools for their wholehearted participation.
