On August 8, 2022, a simulated fire drill was held. The club members had a meeting with the Disaster Management Committee a day before the mock drill and were briefed about the layout and execution plan.
On August 8, 2022, the mock drill was executed by raising the alarm or siren. Students came out of the building in a systematic order (within 4 minutes) along with the teachers and assembled as per the evacuation plan. At the assembly area, the teachers took a head count and reported the missing students to the office. After the demo, students were briefed about the dos and don’ts during a fire at the assembly area. Students were taken back by the teachers to their respective class rooms. The club ensures that it conducts such emergency mock drills on a regular basis to teach students about disaster management.
